Background: Maria always knew she was a princess. She was in commercials and pageants from a young age, and never ended up strung out or on drugs or molested like all those other girls. She was a god-damned princess. IF only the people around her would accept it. If only everyone would just understand that she knew so much better than them and she would help them so much if they would just let her, oh, my, God! Why? Why don't they want to be happy?
Relationship to the characters: Maria won her place with her incredibly original campaign slogan, "How do you solve a problem? With Maria!" and because most of the kids were much more interested in jobs or their own studies to do much running for Student Groups not related to their specialties. Maria doesn't care. She's going to help you, whether it's helping you by explaining that polynomials are basically a sin or that you really need to know how ugly that sweater looks on someone of your body type.
