This knack can be taken by any hero in the Ink Scions Game. Mechanics to be added later.
First Dot: Off-screen maintenance - Characters who step out of the main scene for a moment return much better off than they left. Guns reload, damage to armor and clothing goes from strategic to cosmetic, even damage to a character's appearance improves. This book does not heal damage to a character, but it can make him or her look much less like he or she has just been in a fight.
Second Dot: Protagonist luck - Most Disney characters rely on luck to survive. Now you can, too. This knack allows characters to wish upon a star, and then have the most perfect Disney luck visited on him or her. The cloud of dust coming over the horizon? Totally a caravan of golden-hearted rogues sure to help you. Running out of air deep underwater? A friendly whale swallows your submersible and carries it toward land. Warning: This luck will always be what makes the best story, which may or may not help the character. Sometimes the villain will randomly come upon the character to save him from some other danger. Protagonist luck will keep you alive, but it will also always be a story.
Third Dot: "Not yet." A character using "Not Yet" takes advantage of the most cliche of villain rules, delaying the satisfaction. "Oh, I don't want you to die... not yet." The villain will use time-released traps, giant hour-glasses slowly filling with sand, or simply a villains desire to take a nap to prevent the destruction on Yavin 4, the death of your family, or even the death of a hero. The villain will be distracted by some detail or decide to let you stew for a while before enacting his or her vengeance. This knack will not provide a character or characters with a means of escape, but it will allow them a little time.
